His Masterpiece

I enjoy art. There's nothing like casually strolling through a art museum and viewing all of the beautiful pieces that a gifted artist meticulously crafted. Artists are indeed visionaries that typically see what others don't see. Andy Warhol, an American artist who was a leading figure in the pop art movement, said the following, "Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."

How many women go through life each day, not seeing the beauty they possess as God's creation? Not seeing that they are a masterpiece crafted by the Master Craftsman Himself?

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)

Let's look at the definition of "Masterpiece". Masterpiece: (1)A person's greatest piece of work. (2) Anything done with masterly skill.

That is who you are. God's masterpiece. His handiwork. You are God's greatest creation.

Contrary to what your past or circumstances may say, you are not a failure. You are not the mistakes you might have made.

You, precious one, are fearfully and wonderfully made. Loved by your Father with an unfailing, unconditional love. A love that nothing can separate you from.

(38)And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (39)No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38, 39 NLT)

As women, we must pray and ask the Father to open our eyes so that we can see ourselves as He sees us. When He looks at you, He sees the beautiful masterpiece He fashioned and created. He doesn't focus on the "stuff" we sometimes beat ourselves up about.  He is a God that always sees you as a finished masterpiece. He is a God that sees the end from the beginning.

(Isaiah 46:9, 10 NKJV)

(9)Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, (10)Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’

God has already declared your end. He knows the plans He alone has for you. And, when it comes to His plans for your life, His purposes shall prevail over any negative word, situation or circumstance. You have to believe that God has ordained good for your life, in spite of what may be happening at this very moment.

Ask God for grace to see yourself the way He sees you. As beautiful and greatly loved.

He looks at you with eyes of love and passion. You are His and He is yours. Today, release all negative emotions and thoughts that lie and tell you anything contrary to what God says about your life. He loves you with an everlasting love. You are His daughter.  His masterpiece. His beloved.

Prayer:  Father, thank you for so graciously opening my eyes that I might see myself as you see me. May I see the beauty that I possess. I chose to believe that your plans for me are great and good. And, that your plans for my life will come to pass. Thank you for making me beautiful to behold.
