5 Truths Every Christian Woman Needs to Know

We live in a world that screams, "Less is more!" Less clothes will make you more money. Less morals gets you the man of your dreams.

This world also tells us that our value, identity, and worth can be found right here on earth. However, the Bible tells us different. Matthew 6:19-21 says,
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." And in Colossians 3:1-2, Paul tells us, "If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." 

So if we are to seek the things that are above where Christ is, then the things of this world do not define us. Our worth and value can never be found on this present earth. It is found in Christ alone.

As women we all struggle with the comparison game, envy, insecurities, etc. 

On one hand we all strive to prove our worth by battling the destructive lies of the enemy that tells us we are worthless. On the other hand, some of us attempt to define ourselves and find worth in our career, image, intellect, and so on.

But, your worth is priceless based solely on your Creator.

That is a truth for every daughter of The Most High to grasp and never let go! Your worth is not more or less that the next girl.

You are NOTHING except what you allow Christ to be in you. 

Here are  truths you and every other woman of God MUST believe and take hold of daily:

1. You are God's creation.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. (Job 33:4)

2. All of God's children are precious.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. (1 John 3:1)

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

3. Your beauty is eternal.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. (Ecc. 3:11)

You are all fair, my love, there is no spot in you. (Song 4:7)

4. Your worth and value is secure.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Luke 12:6-7)

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. (Psalm 139:13-14)

5. Apart from Christ you can do nothing.

I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. (John 15:5)

I say to the LORD, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.” (Psalm 16:2)
